Proud finalist in the Gulf Sustainability Award, 2022

The 2022 edition of The Gulf Sustainability Awards is an annual event celebrating organizations implementing best practices in the Middle East in the Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) space.

We are honoured to have made the finalist list in all three categories in which we competed – Best CSR Initiative, Best Community Development and Best Sustainability Education and Awareness Programme.

All three categories in which we participated and were selected as finalists deeply resonate with us as people and as a company. At MVP Tech, we think it’s important to give back to the community in ways that will have a meaningful effect on the lives of people who could benefit the most.

We received these recognitions for our contribution to the bus surveillance project for the Dubai Centre for Special Needs and for supporting water awareness through hygiene education and water rehabilitation programs with Surge for water.

“We must all recognize the multifold value of water and take action to conserve this basic resource, that is not only essential to life,  but vital for creating jobs and supporting economic, social, and human development,” MVP Tech’s Director Mr. Jurgen E. Herre states when asked about the reason behind the company’s participation.

Mr. Said Kiwan, Founder and Director rightly adds “We feel proud to be a part of the CSR activities, not only because it’s giving back to the community but because we genuinely believe in laying the foundation for future generations.”

We have partnered with Together with Surge, to empower at-risk communities in Haiti, Uganda, and the Philippines to fund water access and crucial hygiene training programs through our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Also, we’ve teamed up with a reputable, non-profit organization that offers exceptional care and instruction to kids with a wide range of special needs. Its motto, “Lighting the path to a brighter future,” reflects its commitment to giving every one of its students the tools they need to succeed.
