With the dual-view scanner, vehicles driving over are subject to the Gatekeeper technology which compiles two high-resolution, virtual 3-D digital images of a vehicle’s undercarriage to create the vehicle’s digital “fingerprint.”
It also allows Foreign Object and Contraband Detection by automatically identifying the vehicle’s make and model and detects any foreign objects or modifications. It then highlights these changes and alert personnel of any threats all in a matter of seconds.
After the vehicle has cleared the scanning device the Automatic Foreign Object Detection software automatically compares the subject vehicle’s undercarriage to a reference image in the database)and immediately identifies any foreign objects or modifications to the undercarriage and activates an Audio/Visual alarm.
Meanwhile, the IVOD technology utilizes a high-resolution machine vision camera that allows security officers to see inside vehicles as they approach entry gates, and identify passengers with accuracy and speed. For applications requiring facial recognition, the technology is also able to identify all vehicle occupants and perform advanced facial matching using image processing.
